Setting yourself Apart
One of the keys to finding happiness on the Solo Road is to find
what it is that makes your life great for you. Some people
surf, others fix old cars, some write. Setting yourself apart
from the pack is one of the elements of successful people.
Successful people don't belong to a pack, they lead the pack or even
create the pack.
In order to lead the pack you have to be doing something that is
so comfortable to you, it is second nature. You will want to
always push higher and get better.
Laird Hamilton, the world pro surfer sets an excellent
example of what it means to live the life of the Solo Road.
Laird has home in Hawaii, Malibu and is probably getting towed into
some superwave for a photo shoot as this is written.
Tools To Build Your Own Business
The Solo Road website features several tools and books to help
you decide on a business and build a business if that is part of
your Solo Road. There are some people who just don't have the
ability to work for themselves. There are others who will find
out they should never have been working for any one else.
The tools we feature are real tools. You can build your own
Website Hosting company or even an SEO like Rustic Creek is, the
owner of the Solo Road.
Scott Bourquin, the founder of
Rustic Creek and the Solo
Road doesn't hold back much. In fact recently he was told "You
have a voice, go learn to use it.'
All of the books, workbooks, links and tools featured on this
website are real tools that we use at the Solo Road, our parent
company Rustic Creek or our affiliated companies such as
Kuhlapps.
There are also sponsored links from other sites such as Google
and Amazon that might be of interest.
Tools To Build Your Own Life
Even if you decide that your Solo Road still means working for
some one else, there are tools here for that too. Finding what
makes you happy is the only answer for you. For some people
the need for security of a paycheck outweighs all other factors.
Since we are a result of our environments, we are each truly
unique and that is what makes traveling the Solo Road so great.
We can all make the journey in a different way and end up with the
same level of happiness in our lives.
The Solo Road is about your journey through life and no one
elses. If you have no idea where to start, we suggest our
founders book,
So, Now What?
So, Now What? is a
civilized version of the training that Scott recieved in the U.S.
Military and lessons he learned applying those skills to civilian
life.
Scott has been off track more than once in his life, and each
time used these skills to get refocused and let life be great.
